2013 Cohort I candidates in the Doctor of Education in Educational Technology (Ed.D.) program at New Jersey City University explore the use of current and emerging technologies for effective and efficient teaching in a
dynamic, global society by incorporating their own diverse skill sets and talents.
Areas of particular focus for our cohort will include
developing into educational technology leaders; providing the necessary project-planning
techniques through theory and applications; integrating the implementation of real-world scenarios through our projects; understanding how to bridge the mindsets
and techniques between academia and the corporate world; and ensuring that all aspects of project planning will work and be carried out with fidelity, in order to
accurately measure the results.
NJCU Cohort I candidates in the Doctor of Education in Educational Technology (Ed.D.) program are highly motivated by two things: a passion for applying research to the practice of teaching and learning, and a driving desire to lead and innovate in this ever-changing field.
Technology
will not replace teachers, but teachers who use
Technology
will.
